What is policy enforcement point?
In short:A policy enforcement point is the component that actually stops or permits an action. It sits in the path of the request, such as a gateway, proxy or SDK. It asks a decision point what to do and then carries out the answer, so nothing reaches the tool unchecked.
How does it work?
The enforcement point intercepts the call, sends context to the decision point and blocks, forwards or pauses.
What does it look like in practice?
Idira's Identity Broker proxy is the enforcement point between agent and tools.
